
I'm not particularly fond of the latest “invention” of rock bands!
I feel their music doesn't contain that emotion and anguish that most established bands convey. Most of these bands sound pre-manufactured like (almost) all pop music in the "desperately-trying-to-make-money-of-a-dying-business-model" recording studios.
Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not one of those "old geezers" that strictly listens to classic rock from the 60's or 70's. Not that there's anything wrong with classic rock. Some of the best rock tunes of all time are now considered classic. I'm just trying to convey that I do appreciate all forms of talent. Whether it's old or new.
However as I one evening aimlessly in a haphazard fashion – this happens more than I'd like to admit – browsed through satellite TV channels and landed on Kerrang!, I've discovered this band called Young Guns which might after all have some potential.
